10TH ANNUAL PETSWALK - Saturday, June 28, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This is a pledge walk to benefit the Kitsap Humane Society. In addition to the walk there will be demonstrations, a microchip clinic, agility, costume and frisbee contests, and vendor booths. SPDR will be there as well. The walk will be held at Klahowya Secondary School at 7607 Newberry Hill Road in Silverdale.

KING COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL ADOPTATHON/PETFAIR - Saturday, June 28, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The shelter, located at 21615 64th Ave. South in Kent, is having their annual adoption fair. TOWN & COUNTRY PET EXPO - Saturday & Sunday, July 12 & 13, 2003, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. both days. (This event was formerly known as the Evergreen Pet Expo and previously held in May on Mother's Day weekend.) Once again this great event will be held at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe. There will be demonstrations, vendors, rescue groups (an SPDR Booth will be there), lectures and much, much more.

GREENLAKE ADOPTION WALK - Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Greenlake Park in Seattle from Noon to 2PM. SPDR and PAWS will be sponsoring a walk around the lake of many wonderful dogs available for adoption. Watch this site; more details coming soon.

PAWS "BARK IN THE PARK" - Saturday, September 6, 2003 at Sand Point Magnuson Park in Seattle. An SPDR Booth will be there & maybe even some dogs needing homes.

WAG n' WALK, WHIDBEY ISLAND'S BIG DOGGIE-DO - hosted by WAIF and FETCH. Sunday, September 14, 2003 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pitmore Pit Off-Leash Park, south of Coupeville on Beautiful Whidbey Island. Featured are a pledge parage, demonstrations, information (visit SPDR's booth) & activity booths, vendors, an all day adopt-a-thon, contests, food and fun.

Everett "Mutt Strut" - Saturday, September 20th, 2003. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Langus Riverfront Park - 411 Smith Island Road. Dog Walk with fun and activities for both you and your dog. An SPDR Information Booth will be there as well as entertainment, vendors, displays and activities. There will be demonstrations & clubs for many doggie activities.

HARBOR HOUNDS WALK THE TOWN - Saturday, September 27, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Downtown Gig Harbor . This first time event is a walk to raise money for the Purdy Prison Pet Partnership Program. In addition to the walk along the waterfront, there will be vendors, demonstrations, rescue groups - Including an SPDR Information Booth!!, and exhibitors.

CANINE FEST - Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Puyallup Fair Grounds. Information booths, demonstrations, vendors, as well as many breed and rescue groups.
